Sarajean Achilles

3's Class Assistant Teacher

Sarajean Achilles is the assistant teacher in Ms. Elaine's three's classroom. Sarajean is from San Antonio but has called Austin home since 2009. She graduated from St. Edward's University in 2014 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and certification as a teacher in the state of Texas. Sarajean taught fifth grade for three years in Austin Independent School District where she also led the student council and safety patrol programs. Sarajean has wanted to be a teacher her entire life and has dedicated her life to children. As an educator Sarajean finds passion in helping children to become better global citizens, understanding their role in their world and the power they have to act within that world. Sarajean also works as a nanny to a former St. Mark's family. She enjoys reading, going to the movies, traveling and spending time at the family farm. Sarajean looks forward to every day with the kids and finds working at St. Mark's beyond rewarding, a place where the true meaning of community and happiness come together.
